Best technique / tools for sanding new widebody flares on an early car.
Hi all,
This is how my car sits currently: ![]() One of my next projects is to finish the filler work on the flares. What I'm hoping for are some tips and techniques for getting the right contour on the flare. I've heard that some people use rolled up magazines for sanding blocks. Anyone care to share the whole process? Thanks!

You will find that you will be using many different items for the backing piece when sanding on those flairs and other areas also. You can, and may have to be very creative on your "block" material. It may range from a tongue depressor up to sections of 6" pvc pipe. You will find this out along the way. Good luck!! Tony.
