rear 911 repair measurements...

Does anyone know where I can find the squareing measurements for an 85 Porsche 911. We are racking the car, however the body shop has not had a Porsche on they're straigtening jig and I was hoping to bring the numbers with me. Rear drivers side impact moved everything over and down 1" to the left.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

yes i have them . but a porsche should never be put on a drive on tipe frame bench !!!!! EVER!it has no pinch welds on the rockers to clamp it down . i have repaired more cars that were F@$& up that way . take it to a shop that has a cellet bench . in my shop we just finished a car that a shop over pulled . thay made the door gap to the QTR the same from the rocker to the top of the door . on 911's it has a smaller gap on the bottom of the door than on the top were it meets the qtr.

there must be some . how are shops up there repairing ferraris , lambos , porsches and so on ? google cellet of canada and ask them were a shop is near you . how is the shop planing on clamping the car down ? they might be able to weld 3/16 angel iron to the rockers ? but forget about a pull from the side .

Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, My friend, my car is the 3rd Porsche in this city. There is 1 1985 348 running around and a Lambo has never set foot here. Where on the rockers should they weld the angel...the full lenght or in certain spots?

Thanks,

Mike

i have a red 348 ts . ok back to you if its a light pull then i would just weld 2 peaces on each side . as long as the clamps are . and as far apart as you can make them .i would think ? were the pan meets the rocker . that way you have some more mettal from the pan, inner rocker and the outter rocker . pm me your fax # and i will fax you up the info . i can't do it untill monday thow . i have the info at the shop and i'm home .
