Just to put the area in perspective....
The bondoed area extends well beyond the rubbing strip and to the crest of the wheel arch.

I know about that 'gradual' part. I bought my '68 in July of 2006 and it still lacks even floorpans. Actually, it HAS floorpans but they're in the living room . . .

Hi

10 bucks a day for a packet of fags (thats cigarettes in Australia) just stop smoking for a few months and you have paid for your new guard and increased the length of your life in one go. Win win situation.
cheers

Terry
