body support or cart for repairs?

I have researched the forum for 'rotisserie', and found both positive and negative on using one for a 911. I will be replacing both rocker panels (inside and out / right and lleft) as well as part of the door post and the lock post. I am concerned about the bracing necessary for a rotisserie. Has anyone used a cart or dolly system that bolts to the body using the front A arm mounts, the transmission mount, and the rear engine mount? It seems that it would be easy to weld up a support system using a lightweight trailer (2,000 lb capacity) as the framework???

Thanks in advance.

Rick

John,
That's very cool. Do you know where you saw that?
Thanks,

Hi Alex

I'm pretty sure I found it on Pelican somewhere... but it might have been a google image search. From what I can see, the side arm with the "U" shape will fit into the frame on either side so you can roll it either way. I'm sure this would have to be a two man job!

I've decided to go with an octagonal "rack" that can be rolled over in 45º increments. Hayden Burvill from WEVO gave me the idea, and he got it off Gary Emory The Rack I'm picking up steel today and will hopefully make a start over the weekend.

Thanks, John. "The Rack" looks excellent too. I think the first design suits my purposes better because it looks a little more "storable" although I supposed if the "Rack" was broken down, it would store well also.
