GT Silver

Hello boys...I know it's been a while, but it has been crazy at the shop, a lot of fun projects, and some not too fun, here is one, A 66 SWB.

Rudy.. what's up man.. yes, you have been quiet for awhile.. although I've heard you guys have been busy with some cool stuff... like "pinky" in the background!

I like the louvers.. nice rodders touch, I've got some in the tag panel of my 73... hmm, where is my 73, I haven't seen it in about 2 yrs.

Well, this silver bullet came to us in a sad shape, and a lot of little details are being done to it, we may even paint Martini stripes on the hood and deck lid.

Hey Tom, I am pretty sure that you be right at home here, the projects are pretty cool sometimes. but with this car, there were a few un fun things, the owner pay somebody else to change the rockers and a light SC flare, it is a SWB, the rockers needed fixing and the torsion bar hole reposition. And we did that thing on the jack points too.

Rudy, I can't imagine as much as like my current job as mechanic being any better unless I got to work on exotics(specifically P-cars).

Silver is such a great color for these cars. Mind if I borrow the jack support idea?

village idiot,

That jack support idea has already been borrowed my friend! Not the first time, I've seen it years ago on some vintage race car (911).. the supports were designed so as not to crush the rocker panel/jack support area during fast pit-stops needing tire changes or suspension tweeks etc...

Oh, and I've already cut the metal to add this little trick to one of my projects that doesn't know if it wants to be a track or street car... More on that later.

It took a little longer than anticipated, but now, it's on its way home.
