Targa Roll Bar Rubber Coat Fading

Hello There

I'm familiar with the product Armou% Al*.Is there a more permanent (not in shop)way of restoring the black rubber coating on the Targa Roll Bar.As you may see in the picture mine is getting unsightly.Thank you in advance and regards,Peter.

Go back to 1st page here on PP and up at the top click on Tech Info Center. Scroll down and you will find something that will help.

Thank you kindly.Before I head in the direction you gave I would say I rubbed in some Vasaline to the area of concern about 4 hours ago and just checked to see what was doing and the bar looked like new.It will probably revert back sooner or later but if later turns out to be a few weeks,well, Vasi is cheap.Cheers and regards

Just sand it down and repaint with rustoleum satin black.
