Windows regulator reassembly question
 

I removed my passenger door panel, glass window with rail, small window with channel, windows regulator and motor, and a bunch of seals. It was quite a struggle as these parts had been installed 23 years ago and did not want to come apart.
The purpose was to replace the window switch, and then I noticed that the windows had a hard time coming back up (looked crooked in the frames), and I have a brand new regulator I can install in lieu of the 23 yo one.
What is the proper order for reassembly? Or does it matter?
Haynes, Bentley, and 101 projects give absolutely no specifics for reassembly.
It is for an 86 cabriolet.
