Question 1977 Gulf Blue paint code

I am restoring a 1977 911s gulf blue original paint color . My local paint shop is clueless when it comes to providing the correct color paint. They want to scan a panel and mix it up using that system. I would ask if anyone has the mixing instructions for 1977 Gulf Blue. Call me if more convienent Eric 843 298-9677

i have stated this countles times the COLOR NAME IS MEANING LESS !!!! WHAT IS THE COLOR CODE ? as for paint scaners they are only 85% accurate . if they tell you that is a dead nuts match they are lying . the shop should know if there is no code tag on the car call the porache dealer with the vin# and they can get it that way . i could give you the formula but if its not a shop that uses glasurit or RM paint then they are still at a lose .
