how hard to match 1983 Ruby Red Metallic?
 

I am thinking hard about backdating my cabriolet now. I saw Deshodt's thread where he painted to match the swapped body parts. Just wondering in the experience of some of you others how hard 1983 Ruby Red metallic paint would be to match doing something similar?

matching colors is not that hard . if you don't know colors and how each tint effects the other then the person tinting the color will be very lost . being able to tint colors is just one thing that makes a painter a painter and the others sprayers . if i were you find a glasurit jobber (store) they have a thing called color max . they are real spray outs of all colors used on cars so they should find a match . just one thing the name of the color is meaning less only color #'s are needed to find colors for cars . so get the color code and bring that to the jobber .
