Polishing Stainless

I don`t know if this is the right forum but I want to know the best way to polish a stainless steel exhaust. I am going to try and leave it on the car and only do the visible parts.

I went for a satin look. I used several different scotch pads to get the desired finish. Don't use sandpaper with iron oxide in it as it will lead to rusty stainless. Then I used Mothers mag polish to bring it to the right satin. If you are going for a polished look do the same as I did but then get out the polish and polishing wheel and work the surface to the level you desire.

It is easier than you think. Decide what look you want. I wanted factory shine on my 48 year old parts.
Here is the procedure you can download in pdf.
