I have to tell a story on myself...
Working on putting a battery tray in a 356. One side of the vertical part of the box was weak and needed to be cut out. So, no problem, I'll make a piece. Well...................
![]() the pic may not be clear enough, but if you look closely, I made it backwards! Yep, scribed the line and proceeded to fold the part to the outside instead of inward. Too bad the other side didn't need the same repair. ![]() |

Milt, yes I laugh at myself all the time. Sometimes I look at something, stand on my head, then turn left/right and who knows what will actually be made. Thanks for the post. Jim

Don't feel bad, I do it with crown molding every once in a while.... in a hurry, cut the wrong side or put it in the saw upside down. Usually the last cut, and I'm running low on materials....

I've been a bodyman for a while now and I do this kind of thing on a semi-regular basis. funny, when I'm writing a sheet on a car I still have to turn around to face the same direction as the car to make sure I get the right side, or left as the case may be.
