Black paint removal from chrome

Is there a safe way to remove the black paint from the window frames with out scratching the chrome?

Thanks,

Try an aerosol Aircraft paint stripper. Really great stuff. 10 min after you spray it on the paint will wipe off with a shop towel. But check to make sure its safe for chrome first!, I believe it is.

However, it's really not chrome, but a bright annodized aluminum.
