911 seat removal
Does anyone know the trick to removing the rear bolts on the 74 - 84 911 drivers/passenger seat. See Picture. I have tried a socket (no vertical room), a box wrench (no room between the slider rails for the wrench), and a closed end wrench (wall of wrench too thick to fit between the rails). Any ideas??? Must be easy as many do to replace seats with racing seats but......???

Remove the front bolts first, then the seat will move further in the front.
Then you can use a regular socket to remove the rear bolts. -Guillaume |

I replaced these with allen heads, as used on the earlier cars. THen if all else fails you can grind down an appropriate wrench to get into the limited vertical space.
