944 Turbo S Guards red repaint
I know this is simple & possibly boring by comparision, but Guards Red looks SOOOO good when it's fresh, unoxidized.

I have always loved guards red and it is my favorite 944/951 color.

Mark, I may have missed this, but did you need to strip the front bumper? If so, how did you do it?
Nice paint. I'm starting my second 944 body job (and second of all time) this winter. If it comes out anywhere close to yours, I'll be ecstatic!

Hey Charlie, Yes, the front bumper cover was from an '86 951 I used to own that was commissioned to the track some 6 years ago, so it had about 4 years of track rash on the front: sanded it down until all the chips were out, then 2-3 layers of primer/resanding. Whew...
