Targa top linkage paint

I am attempting a complete targa top restoration and want to sand blast and repaint the top frame linkage. My question is what paint should I use? I have access to a paint booth and a compressor, so going beyond a paint can is preferable. I am thinking some semi-gloss black paint is what they used at the factory, but would like to hear the pros share their advice.
