1982 911sc L347 paint question
I have a February 1982 ROW-spec 911 SC Coupe that came with Paint to Sample/99 “Dark Blue” confirmed on the PPS. Verbal paint code L347 (Dark Blue) given to me from the person at PPS and not appearing officially until 1984, and my documents also reference 904DB — possibly the Mercedes Dunkelblau code.
Curious if anyone else has encountered this color used this early. Was Porsche using DB904 formulas before L347 was cataloged? Anyone seen a similar PTS SC or know how these early Sonderwunsch color requests were tracked? |

I’m pretty sure my car is the first dark blue 911SC and only SC made with this color. Later put into production in 84.
