Red face Swedish Porsche 912 1966 rustbucket

I have finally dragged out my -66 912 coupé from itīs hibernation. It has been standing in a humid barn since 1978 it still carries itīs original road tax stickers from -77

Iīve started tearing it apart, it doesnīt look too good which I new but iīd like some second opinions on this.

Is the chassis worth saving? Itīs matching # and 100% complete but in terrible condition 10cm up from floors. I know that this will cost lots of money to repair but I would really, really like to save this one... I do have a contact whoīd do the body work at a extremely competitive rate but my concern is more "can it be done"?

Cool to find all the original details, the car has never been stripped prior to this (from what I can see)

Good stuff
Back seat and parcel shelf are solid
Front luggage compartment is almost mint
All electronic cables/stuff is original and in stunning condition
Center tunnel is solid
Engine turn freely by hand (is said to run)

Less god stuff
One of the front wings
One of the rear wings is beyond repair(?)
B-posts are shot
Inner wings look like they need a "little" work
Fuel tank support

In my opinion, anything you feel is worth saving is something worth saving. Think about available restoration parts when it comes to what's already gone.

But I'm in the same boat and although it's very cliche, it's about the journey and not the destination.

I'm not in it to turn a profit, but save a car.
