993 door handles

Can anyone tell me if 993 door handles are painted or powder-coated? If just paint, say GP white, is it clearcoated? tia.

Hello Turn. If the Germans are anything like us Americans the handles are farmed out to a tier 1 supplier. Which means an outside supplier manufactures the handles and then probably paints them. The supplier would need to meet specifications like finish quality etc. I can't say with 100% certainty but with 98% I can say they are liquid basecoat with a liquid clearcoat.
