911 SC Rocker cover lower mounting points
I am having the sills replaced on my 911 SC at a bodyshop local to me and when they removed the rocker cover on the drivers side (my car is a RHD car) there were only two lower mounting bolts that screwed into the mountings on the outer sill. This is the side where the oil pipes run the full length of the sill. Two of the rocker mounting points have brackets on them that are covered in rubber sleeves that seem to fit under the oil lines.
Am I right in thinking that there should be four rocker cover lower mounting points on the drivers side the same as there is on the passenger side? The lugs on the rocker cover are there but there were no bolts through them at all and when looking at the outer sill there did not appear to be any mounting brackets having ever been welded on there. If there should be four lower mounting points on this side of the car where would I be able to get them from?I have tried finding posts about these mounting points here on the forum but without success so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

Are you sure there's four on the passenger side? I have a UK SC and mine have 3 lower mounting points on each side. On the driver side one is just behind the jack tube, one in about the middle and one near the front. My rocker panels accommodate 3 mounting screws.
If you are missing a mounting point it seems easy to make up something and weld it on. Its only a 3 sided square piece that even I could make up. Maybe take a pic of your sill. My rocker covers are off while I'm doing a bit of refinishing so I can take a pic of mine if you like. Let me know. Darren
