Gas/ tankstone guard
Has anyone used WURTH'S "rubberized" undercoating as a base product to reproduce the high texture or contours of an original tank covering then used Stone Guard as a top coat to give it the finished look? I do know that they are compatible once the "rubberized" coating is sufficiently cured. Any thoughts

so did some more homework... i am told that i must use a gun to get the desired "look" or texture i desire.... i was hoping to use wurth in a rattle can(s) and two operations. that would never reproduce the original look. with that information-- the question is academic.
thanks for looking |

I was asking the same question in the gas tank thread http://forums.pelicanparts.com/paint-bodywork-discussion-forum/446855-gas-tank-cleanup-2.html
So the spray cans cannot give you the factory look? I talked to Wurth today and they said they only sell back in the can and grey only comes in the spray cans. Any other way to get the factory look and color?
