"man of Chile" or "Fashion" Grey

This color is called "Man of Chile" grey, which Champion Motorsports used as a derivative of an early 356 Color, "Fashion Grey". I'd like to get a base/clear of this..does anyone know where I can start?

You can get the paint code and go from there. Im not sure if that is a factory color or not so that might be tough. Or you can get go through color chips and find it. Most paint manufacturers have chip books that go through the whole color spectrum. The chips are grouped by color and whether or not its a metallic or pearl. You should be able to find these chip books at any auto paint store.

Champion Motorsports, who makes the F77, made this as a custom color. I've emailed them, and maybe they'll get back to me with it..

Yea, it's close to that Fashion Grey. I'm hoping for a little less beige, and a bit darker.

Again, I know this is an old thread but I was hoping that someone has figured out the mystery of the "Man from Chile". Thanks!

I ended up going to the paint shop and choosing a grey I liked the most. Mine is a completely neutral color with no blue or red. It's literally 50% white 50% black. It came out really nicely.
