Wide body conversion-front fenders

Hi all
I just got a used body parts for wide body conversion
The front fenders r not in a good condition in where the head lights located.
My question: can I cut the wide part of the fenders and weld it to my narrow original fenders like most people do to the rear fenders?

Pics will help

Tnx

yes you can but your right back to doing body work . how bad are the wide body fenders you got ? if you have to do work to graft in the flares would it not just be better to repair them ? you have photos ?
