When attempting to recover 914 dash board

is the dash removable ?? Or does it have to be recovered in place ? Any input would be appreciated . Thank you http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/yltype.gif

every time we have a dash recovered we pull them from the car and send them out to the upholstery shop . i have found the job will just look better by pulling the dash .

There are ~ 10 or 13 plastic nuts holding the dash pad onto the steel dash. When 914world comes back on line, do a search. It helps to have a picture of the underside of the dash pad so you know where to look for the plastic nuts. It takes patience but its a pretty easy job to remove. Getting it back on is a 6 pack job! Craig at camp914 recovers them.
