What is the difference between a us rear bumper versus a us one, just the bumperettes?

Is it easy to fill up any holes and to repaint it

I think you are correct. Same bumper, different bumperetts. I think they are made of aluminum, so you would have to weld up the holes. there was an interesting thread in the 911 general discussion. People were showing off their bumperette-less bumpers
