paint removal from fiberglass
What is the best way to remove paint from fiberglass? Or do I even have to remove it?
I have a used fg bumper and decked that need cleaned up prior to painting.

There is no need to remove the old paint prior to repaitning but if you did want to remove it you can get fiberglass safe stripper form any marine supply store. I have also found that citri strip available at Home Depot and Lowes will not damage the gel coat so that will work as well if you do not have a marine supply near you.

I need to strip the paint off a fiberglass turbo tail (cracking/flaking paint) - will regular Citristrip be OK? The fiberglass-specific remover only seems to come in gallon containers.
