Later type rear window seal
 

In my 88 Carrera, ahead of upcoming paint job, I already have later (89-94) one-piece seal and new front windscreen organised, but I haven't been able to find any threads dealing with changing to the one-piece seal for the rear window.

Will the 88 rear window fit properly with the 89-94 one-piece rear seal, or do I also need 89-94 rear glass as well?
