Seat Covers

'83 911 here

I have a couple seams coming apart in the driver's seat and am thinking of an interim solution - seat covers - ugh.

Any suggestions on sourcing them?

What is the issue? Has the seat material torn or has the stitching broken? I the issue is the stitching take the cover off sew it back toger and put it back on. If you need to repace the cover post in classifieds you may find a good cover or a used seat.

seat covers i find many people think are a bid problem .
i don't under stand why so many people do .
a hand full of hig rings and the 20 dollar pliers from lows , home depot , or even the 1000's of places you can buy seat covers from will have them .
seats are really very ez to replace a cover on .

Thanks,

I hadn't considered fixing it. Not sure I could match the vinyl. Here are some pictures of the tear and one of the seats.

Any idea what kind/brand of seat this is?

I am '83 911 Row.

Rip and separation:

Seat itself - any idea what kind?

remove the seat bottom and seat back pull the covers and take them down to a good interior shop . it's not the stiching it's the cover it's self that is ripping apart so they will have to make new pieces for you and replace them .
many of the cars we restore have the same problem with there seats the interior shop we work with can repair that type of damage with out to much cost . but we do the cover removel and installs .

Looks like the same seat as in an early manual 82 - 84 Porsche 944.

Cheers,
Larry

IMHO Pasha seats are worth whatever it takes to fix them.
