What do you mean by rock guard? Are you talking about a spray on stone guard like Wurth Stone Guard type of Schutz or a film like Xpel film?

I tend to use more U-pol chip guard than any other .
I found it matches the texture of the Porsche's better than any other brand out there .
the wurth chip guard is made by u-pol as wurth makes nothing of there own .
i'm not nor ever have been a fan of wurth for that fact that they make nothing of there own . you will pay more for the same product just because wurth stuck there name on it .
there are many good chip guards out there to pick from SEM offers a good one too .
the best was the old 3M beige solvent based body schutz that Porsche used for years and years . it was taken off the market many years ago now . I still have 1/2 case for the special jobs . the name body schutz is a trade mark of 3M but it's called many things schutz , stone guard , chip guard , and so on .
when your picking a gun to spray chip guard you should buy a gun with a adjustable nozzle
(spray tip ) that way you can adjust the spray pattern to match the chip guard that is on the car .
it may cost 15 dollars more but well worth the cost to get a proper finish and texture .
