'80 SC - door latch and kidney bowl from rear

All,

In reviewing the forums, there are plenty of mentions regarding the kidney bowl, etc.

I've created this thread to make it easier for everyone to find pictures.

These pictures are from the rear passenger side, with the rear wheel removed.

FYI this is after I removed a few pounds of sand, tire pieces from track days, and other stuff using an air blow gun and brushes.

General orientation (what are we looking at) is that the left side shows the torsion tube with jack stand, and the right side shows the inside of the wheel well.

The inside of the wheel well is made up of the rear quarter panel, which has the hole in it for the torsion bar cover, and is welded to the door sill and the outside rocker panel - I am not talking about the rocker trim piece that is removable. The rocker trim panel has 3 bolts underneath that also go between the oil lines, and sheet metal screws under the rubber strip (which just pulls off once the front or rear rocker end cap is removed with two screws).

Overview Picture - showing oil lines that go under door sill, sill plate (note 2 bolts showing door latch mechanism), bolt that secures torsion bar tube, and end pf sheet metal screw for top of outer rocker panel.

Detail picture - Medium Close up showing bottom of door sill, qtr panel, and back side of kidney bowl.

Super Close Up
