Just trying to find out if my ext color of my 80 911sc is truly petrol blue, how would I be able to find out the paint code of my car so I could find out if that was the true color of the car. Thanks

the paint code is on the drivers door jam .
you could also get a COA for the car .

petrel? or petrol?

the name is called petrol .

there are two color codes for this color one for air cooled cars and one for the water cooled cars .
the color is the same for the two cars but the numbers are different .
they also call them petrol blue and petrol blau for H20 .

the color codes if I remember right (off the top of my head)
376 used for 1978 to 80 air cooled
LM5V used 1978 to 80 H20
