Factory Trunk Texturing How To?
Many of us have seen folks apply "custom" texture to the trunk compartment for one reason or another. After you remove the special texture from the compartment how does one go about achieving the correct factory texture. I like to call it marbling and know a few body men in the area who turn out such work but have not been able to touch base with them yet. From a paint and body stand point what products and techniques do you use? Thanks in advance

All I can add from my novice experience is that I've tried both SEM and NAPA. I've had better results with NAPA. It's thicker. But like every rattle can product. It's all contingent on properly shaking the product. And the distance away from the part you are spraying the product on. Oh yeah, temperature of both the product and the part. |
