1985 Targa - Ribbon Tape Under Window Trim

There is ribbon tape under the window trim on the doors and the targa window trim around the rear window. The ribbon is applied onto the body panels below the trim with holes for clips.

Does anyone know if this is Terastat Ribbon or some other kind of ribbon. The existing tape is being removed for paint and it is very dry - assuming due to age and elements.

It's basically thin strip caulking. We order it from Porsche and it comes in a roll. Looks and feels exactly like the 3M stuff! We use it not only under the Targa glass trim but also the rear qtr glass trim on the body... Porsche part number for Targa starts with a 000#
