Suspension Paint and Disassembly

I have a 1976 911S I am restoring pretty much top to bottom and I have the suspension out of the car. I have two questions. I think the recommendation here is to use SEM Rust Shield after grit blasting. Is that the best option for rust prevention and durability?

Secondly, I want to disassemble the whole front suspension and replace the rubber where ever possible. Am I really going to screw up the torsion bar area by doing so? Do I need to mark the tubes to show reference points and angles so I get it back together properly. I do have more pictures but I want to make sure I go into this knowing what I should and should not do. Any insight would be appreciated.

yes to the SEM rust shield products .
mark with a center punch for the line up marks of the T-bars to mounts so they will be indexed properly for the reinstall .

Does the SEM Rust Shield stay nice and black or does it fade after a while? I have read it is not UV resistant but I wonder if it stays nice on the suspension parts.
