inside fender lip textured finish

Auto Body Gurus,
I've tried searching this forum but not having any luck. Recently had a front fender replaced at a local body shop and supposedly used new parts but while they did a decent job, they didn't duplicate the textured finish inside the front fender well lip. Is this possible? after the fact? Tia.

It is possible. The texture comes from a product called chip guard. Do a search on chip guard and you will find lots of info on it.

I recently had the same issue with a lower rear valance replacement. Not having the correct gun for spraying this thick material, and it being a relatively small panel, I did it as a rattle can job. Since Wurth gray chip guard aerosol has been discontinued, I used SEM heavy texture chip guard (39793) followed by a flat granite gray color coat to match the OEM.

You can pick up a shutz gun off ebay pretty cheap $30 and spray at 60psi.
