Bracing for rocker repair?

What's the best method for bracing a coupe to ensure no flex during extensive rocker repairs?

Both rockers in my car are toast. I'm going to build an octisserie and section everything out but I'm concerned about getting everything back together straight with the a a absence of the doors. I'm guessing I just weld up an "X" brace but would like some advice first.

Thank you!
