Is it worth it to installed used flairs vs new?

I have a car that I want to replace the rear flairs.
I guess installing used flairs would be a little more money? (I don't know)
Assuming I could save $500 to $800 on the used flairs vs buying new ones, is it worth it?
My concern is after getting the used ones, if they are more expensive to install and there are any surprises, and the total installed price starts getting close to buying new ones then what was the point.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks, Rich

Other than the cost of the flares, there is no difference. The level of effort to install used flares or new flares is the same.

I would imagine the flairs could not be cut at the exact edges (?). If that is the case I am sure they would be cut smaller rather than bigger. If that is the case wouldn't that create more work to install.
Thanks, Rich

I'm not sure what you mean by "cut at the exact edges?"
You can cut them numerous places, either way they will need to be butt welded, and finished. It doesn't make a difference if they're new or used.. again, the work is the same.
There are usually several nicely cut sets available in the for sale forum.

I just thought you could not cut them in the same exact place they were welded. Is it turns out the set in question was cut bigger so no issue.
Thanks for your help.
