Dealer Color Code vs. Adelgigs Paint Colors
Hello,
I'm in the process of potentially purchasing a 1981 911 SC after months of searching. I found a vehicle I'm interested in, Grand Prix White, but the Color Code Tag is missing to verify if this is the original color. I called PCNA and a local dealer to run the vin for original color. After talking to PCNA and a dealership, they both gave me the color code R4R4. This code does not match any of the codes on adelgigs but does show up on the below site as a 76 911 grand prix white. Do the dealers use a different color code system? Thank you. 912 Registry Official Website :: Factory Paint Code Table |

I just bought a 1980 SC Euro Coupe. I want to buy a Dr. Paint Chip Repair Kit, but don't know the color code to give them. Like Bauba01, I don't have the color badge from the door frame or rather it is damaged/illegible "KUNSTHARZLACK 7?08-9-3" I did find the original german dealer code "Farbe A2A201" from the Fahrzeugbrief. Can anyone tell me what the accurate color code is?
