Sheet Metal Just Back From the Blaster
So I picked up this 67 in June and I have been collecting parts to bring it back to its original condition. I got the fenders, quarters and rear bumpers back from the blaster recently and I'm not sure what to do about the rear quarters. The replacements are not complete so I'm thinking I should just cut the flares out and replace with the non-flared sections. Any opinions? Do the taillight buckets and striker plate sections have any value? Thanks

personally i would have done new QTR's not used .
the cost would be much more but in the long run the extra cost would add more value or get value back to the cars real worth . you now have a car that was flared then your going back to how it should be but have to deal with flared to non flared double working the panels . |

I wish I had the funds to buy new sheet metal but at this time its not available. The guy I got the quarters and fenders from replaced them with new sheet metal and spent over $11,000. My plans for the car are to fix the floors and body and then put a nice driver quality paint job on it. I plan to drive the car a lot, it will be kept in a garage but it wont be a garage queen.
