Quesiton on SEM Rust Shield

Good morning - working on a 912 that has some light surface rust on the interior rocker panels and debating how to address that short of taking everything apart.

I noticed that people here seem to like SEM Rust Shield and was wondering how that compared to this Eastwood product. Does the SEM prodyuct convert the rust before sealing it or "just" try to create an O2 barrier so I won't rust (similar to POR15)?

I've used the Eastwood product before and quite like it, but wanted to explore the SEM option.

Thanks!

the sem rust-shield has there sem rust seal in it .
the rust seal is a rust converter .

if you have surface rust depending on how bad it is the rust shield is the product you would use . it will like the rust seal convert the rust . because it depends on how bad the rust is it will depend on how long it will hold it out .

posting a photo of what your dealing with i could maybe help in pointing you to the products you would need .
