Video of concours paint job on a 964
Thought this might be of interest to those reading this forum. Well documented process - the numerous applications followed by sanding and final clear - so much work/time by what looks like 2-3 painters/craftsman. And after all that time and effort - the owner clearly intends to continue driving the car on track. I will do the same if my numbers come up lucky...

Wouldn't sand to 800 before color? And wouldn't use por 15.

I think I heard that it was about $30k+ for the paint job. (of course he's able to write it all off as a business expense and doesn't have to pay any taxes... THAT is why everyone should have their own LLC)
At one point his video showed 5 people working on his car... imagine $50/hr minimum for each person touching his car.... WOW!!! ![]()

A lot of BS there. They did a very nice job no doubt about it but no way would I ever consider clear film even Xpel after just 7 days.
I have friends who are some of the best both paint/ body restoration and clear film from 3m to Xpel and both will agree no matter how you approach it to apply film so quickly is risky at best. Lets see what happens when they go to remove it in a few years.
