Rust Repair Advice for Inner Fender Bottom Front and Gas Tank Lateral Support

Hi All, so I am in the middle of my suspension pan project for my 81 911. So far, I got the rusty old fuel tank support panel and suspension pan out but now encountered more rust on the left side of the car. The newly discovered rusty thin metal is located on the lateral gas tank support and bottom front of the wheelhouse.

Should I just patch these thin areas or purchase a new panel and replace the entire piece? As depicted in my pictures, I was thinking on cutting where the green lines are and replacing with a whole new panel (cut to shape, of course). The areas in red are already rotted through or extremely soft. Also, if you think I should cut somewhere else, please let me know!

I had no problem finding the lateral gas tank support (part no. 91150111102), but I am having trouble finding just the bottom front part of the wheelhouse. I do see several on Restoration Design's website but they are for pre 73 cars. Can anyone link me to someone that sells the inner fender bottom front? Does anyone even make this part?

I am really leaning towards buying new panels because I want to do it once and right.

Thanks!

to the best of my knowledge those panels are not produced and must be hand made for impact bumper cars.

I just finished up one of these repairs
