rehab on rear light housings
Pulled the rear light fixtures on my 79 SC. Pretty dingy inside. Most of the silver reflectivity is gone. What might be a solution to repaint those for better light transmission? Also, what bulb upgrade will be better? LED's I assume. Thanks in advance, Kip

Get spokeworks led’s. They don’t need to use the stock reflectors. Great product and there are a couple threads on this site with descriptions.

Mine were pretty bad too, but I just cleaned them up, replaced bulbs and installed new lenses. Also wet sand my rear reflector and clear coated with PPG clear that I had leftover from spraying the car. They look great. I don't personally like LED's as they seem too bright for the era.
