Anyone done a quarter replacement on a 944?
Actually a 968 coupe. I'll be starting the job in the spring but there is not a lot of info out there. Does anyone have any DIY info on doing this? I have replaced quarters on other cars, just never a 944/968. Thanks

i have done countless amounts of them they are easy as hell to change .
so easy i wish all cars were that easy to do . finding the spot welds is easy and none are hard to get at . there is no splicing the sail panels you weld the new one on under the roof rail molding so there is no body filler work you need to do . book time for the gas door ( right side) side is 12 hours and for the left side 10 hours . that's for removing and installing all parts that's in your way like rocker moldings side lights tail lights and so on . like i said easy job . |
