Stripping Por-15 Coating

Thinking of removing some Por-15 (it's complicated) from previously coated metal surface. Is chemically stripping (aircraft stripper ??) feasible - that being the preferable option or is the good old angle grinder my only hope? I don't really have much in the way of access required to use the grinder. Any suggestions are welcome - Thanks

Cheers
JB

there is nothing at all i like about por products .
removing it with stripper works but makes a mess. sanding it clogs the sand paper so quickly it's not worth it.
a stripper disc works ok but it will clog the disc to if you build to much heat from stripping that crap off. so slow speed grinder works best.
por and the black rubberized undercoating are two products that should not be used on a car they were not put on any cars when they are built and there is not need to put that crap on a car when your restoring them.

Thanks for your input Gents. Much appreciated. At this juncture, the stripper disc looks to be a favoured option, however, I will be dealing with a por-15/fibreglass mat matrix situation. This will entail dust & FM particulate control & most definitely the use of appropriate respirator protection. It looks to be an unpleasant task no matter which path I take.

Special Thanks to 962 whose posts I find to be most informative on the subject of paint & finish. I now know some of what I really don't know about a most important topic.

Thanks & Cheers
