How can I confirm 356a hood originality?

Hello, all.

I acquired this 356a hood as part of a purchase of a different Porsche. I'm not a 356 owner. The seller threw it in to sweeten the deal. He told me it's an original hood. I have no reason to doubt him, but I'm no expert.

Zero rust. No dents, currently primered and ready to go. Hinge mount marked '07'.

I want to sell this, but I need to confirm it's originality. Any cues on this?

Also, any thoughts on what this might be worth?

if your vin # ends in 07 your in luck...…..
