I have 1955 Porsche Continental that is 95% restored and needs to be marketed. Not sure what the best route to go is. There is this forum, Ebay, Bring a Trailer all with different restrictions, rules etc.
Does anybody have any advice what is the best way to approach this? Appreciate your input. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'd join the Registry and advertise it either there in the mag or on their forums.

You might want to consider www.pcarmarket.com
I’ve done very well on there and they’ve done amazing things with rare Porsches It’s an online Porsche Only auction site.

A lot of times the Porsche/356 restoration repair shops have customers waiting to buy cars that they recommend. A bit of direct marketing could work there. Now if you don't mind missing the last dime in the sale some dealers will pay BTW wholesale and retail. My last 2 sales were to dealers. Some times more private owners don't want to mess with the peanut gallery.

I sold my 1982 911SC on BaT and got an excellent price for it. During the process you have to take a lot of criticism from prospective bidders. If you want to put up with it and keep your cool you can do well there.

If you are a PCA member you can post it in their classifieds which gets it in the Panorama magazine and also in the PCA classifieds on their web site. Sold my Cayman that way.
