"Speedster" mirror
SOLD
This mirror came on the 1958 speedster I bought in 1964. I've never seen another like it. It has a great low profile. Measures 7 X 4 3/8 X 1 5/8. $75+ shipping. Last edited by sandiego; 03-27-2020 at 11:45 AM.. |

That looks like a 550 mirror, maybe it was an option on the 356. I have two that I had put on my car in the mid 1980s. I've since gone back to original. The ones I have are plastic and I would guess aftermarket.

Ive been told that by others but never saw one on a 550.
Completely worthless as a mirror but looks cool. |

"Completely worthless as a mirror but looks cool." I agree and that's why I went back to original.

Do we even know what an "original" Speedster mirror was? I vaguely remember that they came from the factory without a mirror and they were dealer chosen. Or maybe they came separately and were installed by the dealer.
FYI: my mirror was not plastic. |

I had a few Speedsters back in the 70's and they either had Talbot bullet style on the fenders or the
"A" long style on the drivers door I remember seeing the style you sold if it was metal probably Spyder ! |

Does anyone have another of these mirrors they'd like to get rid of?
Thx
