Want to swap a pressure plate?
I have a few I can swap, various years, various models, but need a late (1965 356C or 912) 180MM pressure plate. Let me know.

Change the flywheel, get a bigger clutch.
The 180mm stuff is 100% VW. More or less Designed for 40 Hp. Bob O

Not mine. I'm putting a 912 engine in my '65 356C. The 912 flywheel wouldn't work so I picked up a 356 flywheel. I have the clutch for it but not the pressure plate...180mm.

Doood... okay check it out-
Send your 912 flywheel to Walt @ Competition Engineering - in California. Have them put the 356 ring gear you need (maybe 6 volt?) on the 912 flywheel and use the 912 stuff- it'll go right in. It rocks. I did that on my 60' S-90 and it was the BEST thing I ever did. Seriously felt like a 911 clutch. I need a 912 clutch plate if'n you end up with an extra. -Bob O
