Hello,
Will 195-55-15 on a 5 1/2" wheel fit under a 356B T6?, if not what will or where is a good source for tire / wheel combo information. Thanks, Chas. 356 912 |

195s will probably rub, from what I've read on 356talk. 185s may too, depends on your car and what color socks the guy who assembled it back in Germany was wearing.

info on wheels
Chas, go to www.356registry.org/Tech/tiretable.html and www.356registry.org/Tech/tires.html for good information on this subject.
I have 185/65 o 5.5" rims on my 59 Convertible D. One of them rubs in the front at full lock in a left turn. I plan to go to 185/70 in the future because that size more closely matches the original tire circumference and should make my speedometer reading more accurate. It probably won't help with the rubbing, but it doesn't bother me. Barry Brisco

I have 195/60R 15's Yoko's on a 63. Don't come close to rubbing. Of course the speedo is off because of the lower profile. Have had them over 10 years with over 30k miles they still work great.
