Is there an R Gruppe type club?
Or similar train of thought? I know about outlaws, and I 've seen a few 356 race cars, but in view of the various factory options like the C Carrera coupe in the recent thread, do folks aspire to recreate the period mods like the R Gruppe fellas do?
Show me some pics! |

Check out the work of the Emorys (posted a link in the C2 thread just a second ago). They also host a campout every year where you will see *all* sorts of cool 356 stuff, plus lots of other German made aircooled goodness. Also, there is the "Arizona Outlaw" club, but I'm not sure how outlaw they are.

Right on Kevin, I've run with you and Christian before. That's a great ride. Not too slow either, I might add.
Look for some similar stripes on my car soon in different colors. I think the best R Gruppe 356 is Dick Moran's Speedster as shown in the next to last issue of Excellence. |
